Lu Gan

Lu Gan, M.D., Ph.D., is SVP of Clinical Development at Acrivon Therapeutics, Inc. Dr. Gan is a biotechnology executive with nearly 20 years of experience in oncology drug development across early discovery, translational medicine, and clinical development. She has extensive expertise leading global oncology programs in solid tumors, with particular focus on early-phase development, biomarker-driven strategies, and precision medicine approaches. She has built and led cross-functional teams in both emerging biotechnology companies and established pharmaceutical environments and has experience advancing programs from first-in-human studies through later-stage development. Prior to Acrivon, Dr. Gan held leadership positions across multiple oncology-focused biotechnology companies, including Scholar Rock, X4 Pharmaceuticals, and Boston Biomedical. Throughout her career, she has led clinical strategy and execution, collaborated closely with global investigators and key opinion leaders, and supported the advancement of multiple investigational oncology therapies. Dr. Gan received her M.D. from Nanjing Medical University in China and a Ph.D. from Tufts University in Boston.
