Robert L. Coleman
Dr. Coleman is one of the country’s preeminent gynecologic oncologists over the past three decades. He has authored or co-authored more than 700 scientific publications, including 410 peer-reviewed articles, numerous book chapters, monographs, invited articles, and textbooks. In addition to being special advisor to the President and Vice President of GOG-Foundation he serves on the Board of Directors for GOG-Foundation, Inc. He has held leadership roles in clinical research and oncology, serving as Chief Scientific Officer for US Oncology Research and previously as Deputy Chair of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on drug discovery, novel therapeutics, and clinical trial development for gynecologic cancers.
Dr. Coleman earned his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and pursued a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
